2004 FEI World Dressage Challenge supported by PSI

The Club hosted the 2004 FEI World Dressage Challenge supported by PSI, 12-14 November 2004. This is the only international dressage event on the calendar of TEF this year.

The timetable and program included:

Monday, 8 November to Thursday, 11 November
Clinic for riders by Hans Staub of Sweden.

Friday, 12 November 2004
Preliminary (under 12) competition for 13 riders.
Congratulations to our member, Valerie Scholz, who placed 1st riding Norrie.

Saturday, 13 November 2004
• FEI World Dressage Challenge – The Children Level: 11 riders participated.
• FEI World Dressage Challenge – The B (Novice) Level: 13 riders participated.
• Video session for Children and B (Novice) Levels.
• Novice Open: 20 riders participated.
• FEI World Dressage Challenge – The A (Advanced) Level: 5 riders participated.
• FEI World Dressage Challenge – The Prix St. Georges Level: 4 riders participated.
• Video session for A (Advanced) and Prix St. Georges Levels.

Sunday, 14 November 2004
Training Session (clinics) conducted by two FEI judges, for 16 riders.

During the event 48 horses/ponies from other clubs in Thailand were temporarily boarded at the Club.

Visiting FEI judges were Mr. Rolf D. Beutler-Bath of Germany and Mr. Claes J. Cederström of Sweden. Non-FEI events were judged by Mr. Dittagorn Pantapa of Thailand and Ms. Alison P. King of Hong Kong.
